Misha Glenny (1958, Londres, Inglaterra) é jornalista especializado em Europa Central e Oriental. A cobertura que fez da queda do comunismo deu origem a The Rebirth of History: Eastern Europe in The Age of Democracy (1990), seu primeiro livro. Correspondente da BBC na Europa Central, acompanhou de perto a crise da Iugoslávia, experiência que serviu de base para The Fall of Yugoslavia: The Third Balkan War. O livro, publicado em 1992, é considerado a mais abrangente obra já escrita sobre a região.
