Ayòbámi Adébáyò (Lagos — Nigéria, 1988) é mestre em escrita criativa pela Universidade de East Anglia, na Inglaterra. Em sua estreia literária, Fique comigo (2018), tece reflexões sobre o patriarcalismo na sociedade nigeriana e desvela o dilema causado por conta da impossibilidade de um casal ter filhos, e a pressão familiar em introduzir mais uma esposa na relação. O romance — publicado em quinze países — recebeu uma série de prêmios e menções e foi classificado como um dos melhores do ano de 2017 nas listas do New York Times, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal e muitos outros. Desde 2009, Adébáyò é editora da revista literária nigeriana Saraba.
