O jornalista e escritor Geoff Dyer nasceu em 1958, em Cheltenham, na Inglaterra. Conhecido pelo estilo irônico, quase debochado, Dyer parte de reflexões íntimas para discutir temas universais, numa mistura sutil de ficção e não ficção.
