EDUARDO HALFON

Eduardo Halfon nasceu na Guatemala em 1971. Estudou engenharia industrial na North Carolina State University e trabalhou como professor de literatura na Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Publicou os romances El Ángel Literário (semifinalista do Prêmio Herralde, 2004) e La Pirueta (2010), entre outros. Publicou ainda o livro de contos Elocuencias de um Tartamudo (2012) e a novela Monasterio (2014). Está entre os 39 melhores escritores latino-americanos selecionados pelo Bogotá Hay Festival em 2007. Em 2011, recebeu a prestigiosa bolsa concedida pela Fundação Guggenheim. Sua obra foi traduzida ao francês, alemão, inglês, sérvio, italiano e holandês.
