ISABEL MINHOS MARTINS

Isabel Minhós Martinsnasceu em Lisboa (Portugal), em 1974. Sempre gostou de ouvir histórias de todos os tipos, contadas pelos amigos, pelas tias ou pela vizinha. Na escola, quando começou a se interessar pelas palavras, arriscou seus primeiros textos, pequenos poemas e muitas cartas. Formou-se em design gráfico pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa e é pós-graduada em edição pela Universidade Católica de Lisboa. Em 1999, fundou, junto com a ilustradora Madalena Matoso, a editora Planeta Tangerina, para a qual continuou fazendo revistas infantis, quadrinhos, animações e muitos livros. Lançou seu primeiro título em 2004, Um livro para todos os dias, com ilustrações de Bernardo Carvalho. Também com ele, publicou em 2009 o livro Pê de pai, que ganhou em 2006 uma menção honrosa no prêmio Best Book Design From All Over the World, da Leipzig Book Foundation.
