The works are organised throughout the book in preference of medium and style corresponding with the previous books in the series in transcending geographical and regional preconceptions. The works featured are further contextualised in a specially commissioned introductory essay by writer and critic John Slyce, and in the book's appendix, where a number of texts by prolific writers, academics and artists, can be found.
