The Values Collection of children’s books is the result of an initiative by two economists and mothers, Martha and Fabiana, who joined efforts to introduce financial education concepts to children from the beginning of the literacy stage. In a series of illustrated children’s books, the authors develop stories that deal with values in their various meanings, by using notions of finance in a playful and accessible way, constantly emphasizing the importance of ethical and moral values. The Collection is aimed at young readers, parents, and family members who help children get into the habit of reading and is equally valuable for educators in search of playful resources to introduce financial concepts – along with essential life values.
