Sheila Heti (Toronto, 1976) é escritora com formação em história da arte e filosofia pela Universidade de Toronto. Maternidade (2019), seu livro mais recente, é um misto de ensaio, autobiografia e ficção. No total, publicou oito obras de ficção e não ficção e foi traduzida para 21 línguas. Foi apontada pelo The New York Times como uma das quinze autoras internacionais que estão “moldando a maneira como lemos e escrevemos ficção no século 21”.
