ALVARO ENRIGUE

Álvaro Enrigue (Guadalajara, 1969) ganhou destaque nas letras mexicanas com seu livro de estreia, La muerte de un instalador (1996). Com Hipotermía (2005) e Vidas perpendiculares (2008), que jogam com as articulações entre romance e narrativa breve, firmou-se no primeiro plano da ficção latino-americana contemporânea. Ex-editor da tradicional editora Fondo de Cultura Económica e da revista literária Letras Libres, é colaborador do New York Times e dá aulas de literatura. Lança na Flip 2016 o seu primeiro romance publicado no Brasil, Morte súbita (2016), que imagina uma partida de tênis entre o poeta Quevedo e o pintor Caravaggio, e que ganhou o importante Prêmio Herralde em 2013.
