Eri de Luca (Nápoles, 1950). Foi dirigente do movimento de extrema esquerda da Lotta Continua, e depois caminhoneiro e pedreiro. Durante a guerra na ex- Iugoslávia, dirigiu combios humanitários destinados à população da Bósnia. Publicou seu primeiro livro aos 39 anos. Aprendeu iidiche e hebraico, e traduziu livros do Velho Testamento. Colabora em diversos jornais.
