Water Boy tells the story of Arthur, a boy who, after throwing a plastic bottle into a river, awakens the fury of Curupira, Guardian of the Forest. To teach him an important lesson, Curupira transforms him into a tiny water droplet.From that moment on, Arthur embarks on a great adventure through Brazil’s natural landscapes, experiencing the water cycle first-hand and discovering, in a way he could never have imagined, how water connects forests, rivers, living beings and oceans.Along his journey, he travels through different landscapes and ecosystems, meets characters inspired by Brazil’s native wildlife, and learns about biodiversity, environmental balance and the importance of protecting water and nature.Blending science, fantasy and environmental education, Water Boy invites children and adults to see water in a whole new way.
