Paul Goldberger, architecture critic for The New Yorker, has added a postscript to the essay that appeared in the first houses volume, bringing his assessment of Meier's residental oeuvre into the twenty-first century. Noted critic Joseph Giovannini provides a comprehensive look at Meier's latest architectural innovations. And, finally, Joseph Rykwert, respected scholar and historian, contributes a thoughtful afterword in which he outlines the characteristics that unite the architect's wide-ranging residential projects.
