All royalties and profits from the sale of Telling Tales will go to HIV and AIDS preventive education and for medical treatment for people in southern Africa.

Nadine Gordimer nasceu em Springs, África do Sul, em 1923. Romancista, ensaísta e ativista política, ganhou o prestigioso Booker Prize em 1974 com o livro The conservationist e o Prêmio Nobel de Literatura em 1991. Uma das maiores vozes contra o regime do Apartheid, Nadine morreu em 2014, aos 90 anos.
