Em 2001, causou estardalhaço ao publicar as memórias A vida sexual de Catherine M., em que relata sua prolífica vida sexual. “De Madame Art, passei a Madame Sex”, conta. Em seu último livro, Dia de sofrimento (2008), Catherine Millet surpreendeu novamente seus leitores ao descrever, a despeito de sua postura libertária, o ciúme que sentia das relações extraconjugais do marido.
