China Tom Miéville é um escritor, acadêmico e quadrinista inglês. Premiado escritor da chamada "weird fiction", China também é professor da Univerdidade de Warwick, com PhD em marxismo e direito. Militante de esquerda, membro da International Socialist Organization, foi um dos fundadores do Left Unity. O premiado thriller existencial A cidade & a cidade (2009) foi o primeiro título lançado no Brasil. O livro arrebatou a crítica internacional, que chegou a compará-lo com Kafka, George Orwell e Phillip K. Dick. Em 2016, Estação perdido, romance que revolucionou a ficção científica e mudou as regras do gênero.
